I teach IB English A: Literature and usually work with students in the year before exams. My lessons are fairly practical: close reading first, then timed paragraphs, then full Paper 1 or Paper 2 practice. I also mark written work between sessions when needed. I enjoy poetry most, but I have a soft spot for drama texts because students often improve quickly once they hear the language aloud and start noticing tone.
